Opihi, Why You Need to Learn It, and Where to Go to Learn About It

The core IPP scheduler and task manager, pantasks, and the Desktop Virtual Observatory, dvo, are built on the Opihi tool, which is a high-level scripting language designed for image display and graphing in CFHT's Elexir toolkit. Opihi the tool is, itself, based on Opihi the command-line interpreter. Like limpets, opihis are everywhere.

The significance of pantasts and dvo being built on opihi is that they inherits ophihi's vector and array manipulation abilities, as well as image display and graphing. So learn Opihi.

Information and examples on using Opihi are available at the Opihi page. Alas, the Programmer's Reference links are broken.
