- 2012-11-27 Worked with Gavin to identify and replace the physical drive which had failed. It turns out that the drive which the RAID controller software reports as #13 is actually labeled with a sticker saying #12. It seems that there is an off-by-one-bug in the labeling of all of the drives. The blink/identify command appears to have no effect! The drives which are labeled with stickers "12" and "18" are what the RAID software calls #13 and #19. No downtime was required. --Haydn
- 2013-4-10 Swapped out the 300GB RAID disks and replaced with new 600GB drives. RAID array was reconfigured and OS installed. All went fine and server was handed over to IPP team to continue with mysql work mid-afternoon. -- Rita
