Are there false detections on skyprobe?

Short answer: No. There are not enough detections.

I put the chip stage images on /data/ipp010.0/heather.  The camera stage was not set up to save the fits files, and I just grabbed already processed data. We do not go past camera stage for skyprobe.

These are the images (all MD01):

For skyprobe, I just looked at g, because g was the ugliest of gpc1 (with the most false detections).

Here is what skyprobe's detections look like:

There are many things not detected in skyprobe.  We need to tweak psphot to find them.

I generated histograms, similar to those in http://svn.pan-starrs.ifa.hawaii.edu/trac/ipp/wiki/ZoologyInvestigations2.  This was done in g band only.  The first is a histogram of pixel/sqrt(variance), the y axis is in log scale.  The second histogram is the same, but the red dots are from flipping the histogram.
