Prior to that there were 8x as many detections, often landing on burntools and edges. 141 141 142 = Cutting using of flux error=142 = Cutting using error in flux = 143 143 144 144 As seen above, cutting the data using both the 'FLAGS' and 'FLAGS2' fields, and rejecting those detections labelled with obvious faults, the original total of 400,000 false detections was brought down to around 56,000, a reduction of around 86%. Eye-balling the images confirmed that this removed the majority of 'obvious' false detections, such as those on the edges of chips or in areas of saturation from a bright star.
