| | 5 | * ipp041 -- fixed the problem with the CPU not being able to make good contact with the heatsink. Had to remove a standoff which was in the way. Unfortunately, had only 1 hour to work on this machine, so we ran out of time to debug it and still the second CPU was keeping the machine from working, so we had to remove the second CPU again and leave. We wanted to begin working on this machine first, but couldn't make contact with anyone from the IPP-dev team, including the czar, so most of our time was wasted. Perhaps next week or in a few weeks we can visit it again. I bought some Q-tips and Goo-Gone to clean the second CPU with next time I'm there. This was frustrating. |
