PS-photometry-test
v12 v13 5 5 - Out of 424 calibrator galaxies that is provided in [attachment:sample_tfc_all.glga], 196 are smaller than 2 arcmin (d25<2 arcmin) with DEC>-30 deg. visible by Pan-STARRS. 6 6 7 - Out of 196 galaxies, I did phtometry for 160 of these galaxies for which I have 62 galaxies with SDSS data for which I have photometry from Don and Mark catalog. In the following diagrams I compare my resulti gnmagnitudes from Pan-STARRS with those of SDSS ....7 - Out of 196 galaxies, I did phtometry for 160 of these galaxies for which I have 62 galaxies with SDSS data for which I have photometry from Don and Mark catalog. In the following diagrams I compare my resulting magnitudes from Pan-STARRS with those of SDSS .... 8 8 9 9 - Please note that i-band magnitudes are systematically different. This is a known issue [http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2012ApJ...750...99T...745...42T Tonry et al.] and is due to the slight difference of Pan-STARRS i,z filters with those of SDSS. This would be later addressed. 10 11 - Another issue is that for several bright galaxies the central core is saturated and then we need to fit a function to surface brightness profile to figure out the total magnitude. 10 12 11 13 [[Image(calibrator_ps_don_g.png)]]
