Tracked this down to a problem with the kron window calculation. Gene suggested re-implementing the function using the psLib ellipse functions which are prepared for misbehaved values. With some analysis, reverse engineering and debugging got the new version to work, but discovered that many faint sources with poorly measured kron radii are putting garbage in the window. That is something to debug next week. |
