+The issue with the cell-to-cell continuity is likely a result of the interaction between PATTERN.MEDIAN and the non-linearity correction.  Disabling NONLIN allows for the 3-phase OTAs (which have fewer nonlinearity issues) to retain continuity.  I am not fully clear on how this interaction is working, as NONLIN is applied with the other detrend steps (DARK/FLAT/etc) before the PATTERN functions are called.  I would have not have expected that this would cause discontinuities to remain.
