| | 9 | Given the clear distribution of detections near bright stars, I placed a cut to isolate the detections that are correlated with the bright star (log10(R) < (g*_synthcat - 10) / -7.0; g*_synthcat < 15). This cut catches 6864 of the false detections, suggesting ~1/3 of the remaining false positives are associated with false detections around bright stars. |
