in ippScripts/scripts/chip_imfile.pl there is a test for the reduction class.  this is then used to determine the PPIMAGE recipe, and the result is added to the command line (line 122) with the -recipe PPIMAGE $recipe argument.
 
We need to add -recipe PSPHOT $psphotRecipe to this line, and set it correctly above.  (And other recipes as well).
